Volcania beach

On the road to Kefalos, directly opposite Lagada beach, there is a right turn towards Volcania beach and Volcania Winery. It is one of the lesser-known areas of Kefalos, with volcanic soil, as the word suggests, since the toponym derives from the Latin word 'vulcanus,' the Italian 'vulcano,' and the English 'volcano.' The Italians named the location Volcania/Vulkánia because of the crater located nearby.
