Mosque "Gazi Hassan Pasha

After the Ottoman conquest of Kos in 1523, neighborhoods of Christians and Muslims with their respective places of worship were established in the city of Kos and in settlements outside the city. The mosque "Gazi Hassan Pasha" is one of the 2 functioning Muslim places of worship in the area of Kos and is located 300 meters east of the central square of "Platanos" in an expanded road junction on its southern side, where there are, in essence, five Muslim fountains.
