Kamari, Kefalos

Kamari means Pride. It is one of the best-known central beaches, which could be described as the seaport, the pride and joy of Kefalos, as it is where the port of Kefalos is located, with a large number of fishing boats. It is approximately 1 km from the village of Kefalos and about 40 km from Kos town. Easily accessible, either by one of the frequent bus services, by private vehicle, or by bicycle for the more adventurous, and fully organised, Kamari can meet all visitors’ needs. Its crystal-clear and cold waters are ideal for the hot days of summer. Here, you can relax and enjoy swimming and the sun. Along the entire length of the beach, there are cafes and traditional tavernas.
