INTERNATIONAL HIPPOCRATIC FOUNDATION

Just 4 km from the center of Kos and the Plane Tree of Hippocrates, visitors can enjoy an area of 170,000 square meters dedicated to the Father of Western Medicine, Hippocrates, at the International Hippocratic Foundation (IHF). The Foundation, with a history dating back to 1960, aims to promote and cultivate the ideal of Medicine as conceived and practiced by Hippocrates, emphasizing a holistic approach to the patient, guided by the principle "to help or at least do not harm."
